Perfume bottle, perfume holder - .800 silver, Silver gilt - Samuel Pemberton - Birmingham - England - Late 18th century

Gold-plated silver case, contains the original small perfume bottle, for a total weight of 26 g.
The case (15 g) made of brilliant-cut silver, gold-plated (?) , with engraved decorations and initials, is complete with bottle (11 g) and cap, both in crystal, all original.
Internally it is lined in a delicate red velvet.
Condition: Light surface wear; firm hinge, good lid closure; perfume bottle intact, cap chipped. Marked for Birmingham 1794; trademark "SP" Samuel Pemberton.
