Period Naval Photograph

Tintype presented in full split Patriotic case. The case displays the American Eagle, claws clutching a shield with a banner waving from the beak, flags in the background. Typical period leather cover, steamed embossed over wood case, produced by Scovelle. The two full standing men appear to be Naval. The man to the right wears a “Jumper” pullover with the handkerchief looped over his chest. The man on the right has a double breasted officers frock coat with two rows of buttons.
