DM 06/A139, Dimensions 40 mm, circa 2008, Origin Schweiz, Original box, steel original clasp Case: 18 K rose gold, fluted caseband, glazed screwed on back. Dial: Grey and silvered, guilloche pattern. Movm.: Automatic. The renowned company was established in 1777 by Swiss maker and inventor Abraham-Louis Perrelet. 1777 was the year in which Abraham-Louis Perrelet developed - at the same time as Hubert Sarton - the automatic winding mechanism with rotor and weight for pocket watches. The company is based in Biel and to this day Perrelet is famous for its double rotor system which winds the spring through two connected weights on the top and the bottom side of the movement.
