Persian Fereghan Sarouk Carpet. Central medallion on the red ground; deep blue spandrels, deep blue band border, double guard border bands in ivory and pale green; floral and foliate motif throughout. Circa 1970. {Approximate dimensions: 12 feet 4 inches x 8 feet 5 inches.}. Condition: Sheared fringe. Minor wear to the pile including some fading. A couple lightened areas, possibly from attempted stain removal.
