A town East of Isfahan with clay buildings and old mosques remains from the 10th century. Rugs are of very high quality and big demand due to workmanship, material, and high knot density. It is usually more than a million per square meter. The exclusive material consists of wool on a silk wrap or silk wrap on silk in the wrap. The silk can also be applied within weft and pile. Patterns with medallions and floral motifs are common. The 4, 6, and 9 layer of threads is a distinctive part of the quality of the Nain rugs. Most famous is Nain Tuteshk. Nain has established a great reputation for its name on the quality rugs.
