A Persian Glazed Ceramic Tiles. Comprised of Seventeen tiles framed as one narrative scene, shaped to fit over a window or niche, features Arabic calligraphy at the central portion that reads "In the name of Allah the merciful" and is flanked on either side with the images of men being fed wheat by angels along with a cartouche at either side with text that reads "Imam Hussein God Bless Him" and "Mr. Abbas year 1322". Numerous tiles have been repaired, some chips, and cracks. 45 3/8 x 20 3/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $3,000-5,000
