A Persian Glazed Ceramic Tile, Early Qajar Dynasty. Square form molded tile with polychrome glaze in azure, turquoise, green, pink, yellow, with scrolling leaf motifs surrounding a central cartouche which contains an interior scene, most likely from the Shahnameh, with Monarchs and attendants. Qajar Dynasty, 1789-1925. Crazing evident, some chipping around the edges. 16 x 16 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $2,000-4,000
