Peter Keil b.1942 Painted Female Torso Sculpture

Peter Robert Keil (German, born 1942), hand-painted female mannequin torso sculpture decorated in acrylic with four stylized faces, two stacked to the front and two to the back, outlined in heavy black contours in tones of red, yellow, blue, orange,green and black. The lower face on the back is painted around an opening in the form, rendered as an open mouth. Executed in a Neo-Expressionist style with bold color and loose brushwork. Signed on the right side "Peter Keil Berlin."

Dimensions: 29 X 10 X 25 in.

Condition: Good overall condition with typical to mild surface wear. Visible discoloration to the shoulders and light drip staining to the lower sides, consistent with age and storage.
