This gelatin silver print is in generally excellent condition. When examined closely in raking light, hairline scratches and tiny impressions are visible primarily in the left portion of the image. There are some slightly raised areas near the lower edge of the image and in the lower margin which correspond to the signature and annotations on the reverse. The upper right margin corner is creased, and there are stray ink deposits in the lower right margin corner.

'PL 17569/11' is written an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse.
