Peter Schmidt, Electrostatic Portraits

Stuttgart/London, Edition Hansjorg Mayer, 1968. 26 x 36 cm. 16 portraits of the artist's friends, created by electrostatically photocopying a selection of random personal items they had in their pocket or purse.
These images were reproduced on canvas and bound between thick rubber sheets. Housed in cardboard slipcase designed by Schmidt (the slipcase has loose boards due to dissolving glue). Edition of 25 plus 5 artists proofs. This is the signed edition number 11. In very good state.
