For more than 300 years, MEISSEN has been shaping outstanding artists. Like Peter Strang, Meissen`s chief sculptor for many years, who began his apprenticeship at the manufactory in 1950 and has remained faithful to it ever since. With artistic prowess as well as a high level of personal talent, Peter Strang has dedicated himself to portraying the man of our time. He is able to generalize with his artistic style all varieties of human feelings. On the occasion of the master`s 85th birthday, the only statuette MEISSEN Sculptor, Special Edition 2021 was cast.
