Petrified Conifer Slab Araucaria Triassic Chinle Formation Arizona, USA This large and impressive Petrified Wood slab from Arizona measures 32 inches (81 cm) and is primarily an overall orangish hue with some more colorful areas near the edge and squiggly black lines as if they were drawn using a Sharpie © pen. Conglomerate material can be seen near the periphery of this fossil, with the irregular-shaped offering presenting a rustic rind. This relatively thick slab boasts a polished surface that does have some patches of gray fill. Ideal for use as a table, this material dating to the Triassic 200 million years ago displays a wonderful palette of southwestern colors, making this extremely decorative.
