Ringed patterns radiate from the central core of the piece towards its periphery. Various light and dark brown hues are visible over the slick surface of the botanical specimen. A rugged edging adds further complexity to the captivating slab of subtle material dating to the Eocene. Measuring some 16.5 inches (42 cm) long, this is one impressive slab.
