Peugeot - 106 Rally 1.3i - 1995

[ translate ]

This fun Peugeot 106 Rallye was always used only for road use (no races) during its almost 25 years of life. I’d like to emphasise it, because finding an original, sound and preserved car like this one is not very easy, because many 106 Rallye cars were the first choices of many generations of racing drivers for their essential characteristics with which they were built, without hiding their nature as cars born for racing. With its 1296 cc engine developing 98 HP at 7,200 rpm on a dry weight of just 880 kg and a short wheelbase, pure fun behind every turn is guaranteed. For this reason, the 106 Rally cars on sale are often ‘stacked up’, unlike this model, which is preserved in excellent condition given its almost 25 years of life and 167,658 km travelled. It was always preserved with great car by the enthusiasts who owned it. Engine is in very good working order and gearbox works great. Original interior are also in good condition (just two small tears in the rear bench seat, left side) . Bodywork has a small blister in the rear boot, one on the front bonnet and one on the right door. In photos you can see how little importance the flaws described have. Distribution was improved with ‘ORAP’ distribution, which is rigid but not hard, making this French car responsive in turns and rapid while moving on the road, a real fun. The car has valid inspection until December 2020, and it can be viewed in Messina (Sicily) , Italy. We can arrange the shipping to Italy or abroad upon agreement with the buyer.
