Condition Report: Lined canvas. Minor frame abrasion at edges. Slight yellowing to the varnish layer. Some scattered faint scuffs and surface scratches. Finely patterned craquelure throughout, with a few scattered pinpoint losses. Minor surface dust. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: heavily applied varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Brushy retouching to edges, particularly at lower right corner. A small area of brushy retouching to the ground just right of center, below the leftmost turkey. Scattered finely applied dots of retouching to the background. A small dot of retouching to the center of the figure's chin. Apparent strengthening applied to the darker details of the figure's blouse.
