Philippe Starck, Anne Kiesecoms - Driade - Armchair, Painting - Toy Chair
The Toy chair is designed by Philippe Starck for Driade in 1999 with a polypropylene monobloc. A chair that is deliberately abstract in its composition and, for this reason, unpredictably comfortable. Seemingly cut from a block, Toy speaks a language of clean, wide planes that sets it apart from other molded polypropylene chairs. Artist Anne Kiesecoms, trained in architecture and painting, plays with the pure lines of this armchair. The graphics and colors it uses bring a "peps" note to this armchair. The object that will be delivered is in good condition. Please note, these are not new seats but "reconditioned", repainted and varnished (body type) . The object is signed, sent with a certificate of authenticity. It will be carefully packaged and sent with "track and trace" tracking.
