brass, horn, silver
formed of thick brass butted links extending to the upper thigh and the top of the arms, the front and back with rows of horn plaques, a single row of brass plaques towards the base, the main frontal plates enriched with small chased silver plaques, and fitted with a pair of catches for closure, one incomplete, some plaques cracked, small losses, on a wooden stand
42cm. high; 1ft. 4 1/2 in.

Condition Report:
In overall good condition with few old marks and scratches consistent with age.

Some minor losses to edges or tips of some metal plaques. One loss of a triangle-shaped plaque to the front toward the right handside.

The wood plaques with minor craquelure and evidence of an old woodworm activity which no longer appears to be active.

The brass and silver with minor signs of tarnishing as visible in the catalogue image.
