Philips Louis Kalff - Desk lamp (3) - Timor, Bijou and Romeo - Aluminium, chromed steel

A lot of three lamps by the designer Louis Christiaan Kalff (1997-1976) , the man who also helped design the Evoluon in Eindhoven.

All three lamps are in original condition (also electric) , with vintage signs of wear.

The smallest is the Bijou, a 'tripot' from the 1950s. A real space age design (compare with Evoluon!) . The legs are gold-colored, the shade is very dark green, with some signs of use and wear. H35, B25. 5.

The curved, middle lamp is the Romeo. This is a production model (from just after 1960) , but the lamp was still made until 1970. The shade and base show minor vintage signs of use and wear. H40, B29.

The tallest is a later version of the Timor, probably from 1960. A design with two lamps (and two switches) . H54, B40. The shade and base are very dark gray, almost black, and have minor vintage-acceptable signs of wear.
