Phillips & Rodgers, Conroe, Medusa M 47Cal. 9mmLuger, Cal. .357Mag, Cal. .38Special, SN. BBD-1761, barrel length 6", bright bore. Six shots. Developed in cooperation with some NASA staff, this revolver can handle more than 25 different cartridges in Cal. 9 mm. A special spring loaded latch in each chamber will properly lock and eject the cartridges. This is the only known revolver with 9 grooves in a right-hand twist. Barrel and cylinder are made of extremely hardened steel, exceeding other manufacturer's standards by 100%. Even firing the gun under water is mentioned as an option! Adjustable rear sight with red front sight inlay. Trigger and cylinder mechanisms were taken from a Smith & Wesson K-frame revolver. SA/DA. The left-hand side of the frame marked "Phillips & Rodgers" with patent, the right-hand side with company logo. Original dark high-gloss finish with only minor traces of wear. Target hammer and trigger colour case hardened. Black rubber grips. In black case. First introduced at the Shot Show 1993, the gun did not sell. Apparently only very few 100 were ever made, which makes this a rare and desirable collector's item.
