6th-4th century BC. A gold finger ring with round-section hoop and spiral-wound ends, the bezel a hollow-formed gold scaraboid with pointillé detailing to the domed face, reserved ankh to the underside. 16.3 grams, 35mm (1 1/2"). Property of a London lady, part of her family's Swiss collection; formerly acquired in the 1980s.
