Photo Album Given as Souvenir from "The 43 Haganah Prisoners", circa Mid 20th Century. The album contains 73 photographs, most are photographs of caricatures of the 43 "Haganah" members and next to them group photographs of the friends, which were taken in the "Mizra" detention camp near Acre, which served for the imprisonment of administrative detainees during the mandate period. Accompanied by handwritten descriptions. Also integrated to its pages are several photographs of newspaper segments. Moshe Dayan also appears in several photos, being one of the prisoners in the group. The 43 "Haganah" Prisoners affair shocked the Yeshuv during the end of 1939. 43 'Haganah" members were arrested while participating in a platoon commanders course and after a run in with the Transjordan Frontier Force. The 43, who were sentenced to years of imprisonment, were eventually released on February 17 1941.

In addition to the album's contents added are: 11 postcard format photgraphs from a meeting of the 43 members and their families from 10.9.1963 published by photo Aharonson Ramat Gan, newspaper segment about the 43 affair, 3 photographed sheets in his wife's handwriting with the 43 Song. Added souvenir token from the 30 Year Convention 5.10.1969 given at the meeting in an original case, and a brooch of the Palmach organization. In almost very good condition: first protective sheet in the opening is detached.
