Edna Clarke Hall was a Slade School artist who attended the Bloomsbury Group's Friday Club. She was a contemporary of Gwen and Augustus John, Ida Nettleship, Ambrose McEvoy and Albert Rutherston, She now is best known for her many illustrations to Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights.
