Pierced Steel Footman, possibly Pennsylvania, 18th century, the rectangular top pierced with pinwheels, fylfots, diamonds, and hearts, above shaped and scrolled sides joining turned and faceted posts continuing to cabriole legs ending in boot-form feet, signed "JOHN NOWLEN" along the front splat, ht. 14, wd. 13 3/4, dp. 10 1/4 in.
