Piero Dorazio. Signed and published works and lots (6) .
1) Work made with Puntasecca engraving, date "1999", "p. a" artist's proof with low numbering, only "2/7" and very rare due to a "backwards writing error": "ELATAN NOUB" (Good Christmas) . Measurements 26 x 37 cm.
"Drypoint is a printing engraving technique (direct technique) . Originally, since the 15th century, drypoint was made to finish engravings. In practice, drypoint, by scratching the metal, creates a groove on the edges, of which it raises the metallic filaments, which further retain the ink, giving a characteristic velvety sign to the print. At the same time, the pressure of the printing press rapidly destroys the filaments and the related effect, therefore, drypoint is only suitable for limited runs. Also for for this reason, the few works thus created (in the overall artistic production) are not frequently available on the market".

2) Book Marlborough-Gerson Gallery New York "Piero Dorazio paintings 1965 - 1968", date "February 1969". Measurements 29 x 21 cm.
