One of the young ladies at the beach is Julie Manet, daughter of Berthe Morisot and Edouard Manet. The other figure is her cousin, Paulette Gobillard. They also appear in other Renoir compositions.
Condition: Mat burn around image from acidic framing materials, time toning to paper, old adhesive stainting to paper verso. Scuffs to frame.
