Condition Report:
Overall the work is in excellent condition. Canvas is not lined but appears to have been placed on a new stretcher. There are faint vertical stretcher bar marks visible in raking light. Surface remains richly textured in places. Some minor crazing to the varnish. There is one faint surface scratch near the lower right corner; otherwise fine. Under UV light: a layer of varnish is somewhat difficult to read through. Although some original pigments fluoresce, no inpainting is apparent.
