The S28 chair designed in 1972 by Pierre Chapo made in late 20th century. Inspired by Chapo's trips in Alsace. He wanted to reinvent the traditional Alsatian chair without its decorative elements. The backrest is full in a shovel shape and has a simple notch for easy handling. The feet are slender. Made of solid oiled elm, the S28 is very representative of the minimalist style of Pierre Chapo conforming to the traditional or rustic furniture. The three chairs were manufactured in 1974 and are in very good condition with minimal signs of use.
