PERADON Pierre-Edmond was born in Courseulles in Calvados on August 3, 1893. He died on July 4, 1981 in Courseulles, in his birthplace. His work structured by Cubism is part of the French tradition of painter of poetic reality. From his childhood, PERADON Pierre-Edmond will always keep in mind the azure blue of the Normandy shores, the vast provinces of the bocage and the beaches as far as the eye can see joining the sky on the horizon whose dazzling majesty BOUDIN Eugène still celebrated. He exhibited and stayed in France in Nevers, Blois, Paris and Caen from 1912 to 1930, Alsace, Nièvre, Alps, Savoie and Provence from 1945 to 1981. In 1944, he did not hesitate to paint the Normandy landings. From this historical period he left rare watercolors. His paintings of the landing restore as soon as we enter an infinity of testimonies, their power of realistic evocation marks a suspended time.
