Pierre Soulages (1919) Olympische Spielen München, 1970 Large Offset lithograph poster on paper, after Pierre Soulages' "Lithographie n° 29", especially created for 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. First open edition - German edition. Signed on the plate (NOT HAND SIGNED) . Dimensions: + Size of the sheet: 101 x 64 cm / 40 x 25 in. Condition: In good condition, with soft handling creases. Sligthly damaged at the edges. Image very clean otherwise. Printed in Germany for Kennedy Graphics Inc. , 1970. Edited by Edition Olympia Gmb. H. This serigraph poster was used to promote the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972, besides the official promotional material. It is part of sports posters by designer Otl Aicher as many as 27 artists were invited to design posters in order to make a connection between art and sport for the first time.
