Pieter Moleveld was born on 1 September 1919 in Voorburg and died on 11 July 1976 in The Hague. Fruit still life, with beautiful pewter jug, rummer, etc. He lived and worked in Voorburg, Rijswijk (Z. H.) and since 1938 in The Hague. Scholar of P. J. van Boxtel. Painted still lifes, portraits and landscapes in still life-realistic-romantic style. He got polio in 1956 (was paralysed on both arms) and had the courage to switch to one of the best foot painters in the Netherlands. Received the Grand Prix Minnesota and 1st prize, silver bowl, Minnesota (U. S. A.) . He was a member of the Association of mouth and foot painters. Painting is in a good condition (light age craquelure) and the canvas size is 60 cm by 50 cm. Has recently been provided with an exclusive Schleiper frame and a new varnish layer. The work will be carefully packaged and shipped internationally and registered.
