Signed Petrus Stephani inventor on most prints in one of the bottom corners. Complete series of the months but without the title engraving who is usually lacking. The publishers address of Marco Sadeler in text lines. The set offers a quantity on details about daily life around 1600. Print series like this fitted in with the urge to catalog themes like seasons, months, elements, planets ... during humanism.

Condition: Good grey impressions with plate tone on a thicker watermarked laid paper sheet, all with wide margins. Two or three sheets with a closed tear in the bottom margin, one of them going in the left corner of the image (Aprilis). Overall a very homogeneous set.
