Solid, extremely quality carpentry.
Corpus in silver oak, drawers inside in maple, back panel screwed and coffered.
This form of processing was used by the Wiener Werkstätte after its foundation in 1903.

In the public collections of the MAK, Vienna are very well comparable furniture from the early period of Viennese Art Nouveau, made in an identical manner by the Wiener Werkstätte.

Old, untouched condition; no original key present;
Double doors locked at the bottom, inside also an original Wiener Werkstätte lock that locks up and down.
