This form of processing was used by the Wiener Werkstätte after its foundation in 1903.
In the public collections of the MAK, Vienna are very well comparable furniture from the early period of Viennese Art Nouveau, made in an identical manner by the Wiener Werkstätte.

Old, untouched condition; no original key present;
