An early 19th century Pillar & Scroll shelf clock by Eli Terry, Plymouth, Conn. 30-hr wooden works time and strike movement with a painted wooden dial and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with scrolled top and three brass finials over a single door with clear dial glass and reverse painted lower panel flanked by slender turned columns on a scrolled base. Paper label 90% intact. Older refinishing with some repair, replaced finials and lower glass, running momentarily when cataloged. 30 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $600-800
