Pipe, Pipe and pipe holder (kiseru) , complete with leather pouch with mount Fuiji design. - Leather - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912) An antique Japanese tobacco pipe (kiseru) with its holder. Complete with leather pouch. and bone netsuke in the shape of an openworked little ball. The mouth piece and bowl are made from metal, with a tubular shaft of bamboo, stretching in between. The nice leather pouch, has a metal closure in the shape of mount Fuiji for keeping the tobacco, On two spots the pipe holder has a small damage. In overall good condition. Dimensions kiseru: length: L 21 cm; 2 x 2,8 cm. The pouch: 12cm x 7 cm. Meiji period. Lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered post.
