Italian painter probably Roman of the late seventeenth century influenced by the painting of Carlo Maratta. Christ Salvator Mundi. Rare painting inspired by Leonardo's famous Salvator Mundi. Very beautiful face and hands flanked by a soft drapery. The painting has some small defects on the face and on the bottom it has an early 1900s holster and a fellatura on the upper left but overall it is in good condition. The frame is not contemporary and is to be considered as a tribute. The painting comes from a private Roman collection
