The dish has a very red biscuit, which here and there shines through the basic stanniferous cover, obtained by using a mould with a very slight relief that offers a very fine surface for a delicate painting. The brush has highlighted the decoration with a single color, the whitebait, which on the majolica base, tending to ivory with small pink tips emerging from the biscuit, creating a large four-petal flower with the arches in turn filled with floral shoots, connected by groups of fine parallel stripes, divided by a vertical band. The cavetto, surrounded by floral shoots, bears the name DIANA and together with the painting, which is also very well done in the reverse, indicates that the dish was part of a precise commission, in the type of stems, dedicated to brides. The ceramic class to which belongs is very rare and is compared with finds from the territory of Altolaziale, in particular Acquapendente (VT).
