A magnificent large antique Chinese porcelain Doucai Penzai plate with a decoration of panels with a dreaming lady in a landscape, a man in a boat in a magnificent landscape and a large Penzai pot, with blossoming peonies, chrysanthemum and daisies in pierced rocks, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white with overglaze famille verte enamels (Doucai) . In the border a classical decoration of geometrical and floral patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1690) . On the backside a decoration of stylized blossoms. Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Provenance: Formerly in the collection Van Daalen, indexed at Christie’s (see label) . Diameter: 24,8 centimeter Condition: The object is in very good condition, without any visible damages. UV check: small touch ups on the rim (invisible with the naked eye: glaze fritting, two mouse bites, one short hairline) .
