A Faenza maiolica double-handled tray, Ferniani workshop, circa 1760-70
Decorated in Imari style in blue, shades of iron-red and gilding with a gilt-edged quatrelobe panel enclosing a landscape with a figure crossing a bridge, trees and a building, the rim with four flower sprigs, the handles and rim edged in blue, 33.7cm across handles (very minor flaking of glaze to rims)
