George Nelson Peek - industrialist, agricultural economist and foreign trade consultant was born on 19 November 1873 in Polo, Illinois, the son of Henry Clay and Adeline Chase Peek. Peek worked for the Deere and Webber Company, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 1893-1901
