Ø53mm, approx. 124g, plain silver case, back with rotating locking disc for the winding hole, early English verge movement with tulip pillars, magnificent movement decoration, early hairspring, plate signed Jarate London, extremely rare astronomical dial with 6 complications, time display with a single hand at 6, also solar calendar and lunar calendar with moon phase, day and night display and month length display, iron hands, in excellent condition for such an early pocket watch, intact, museum collector's item. The watchmaker Richard Jarrett in London, recorded from 1632 - 1695, signed his watches with various variations of his name, e.g. Jarratt or, as in this case, Jarate.
