José Rodrà guez Losada (Iruela, 1797-London, 1870) was a Spanish liberal military man exiled in London. In the English capital he worked as a watchmaker, being considered one of the best of the time. He is famous for having made and donated free of charge to Madrid City Council the Government Clock that presides over the Puerta del Sol in Madrid (1866).
