Pokémon 2004 World Championships Location Board (The Pokémon Company, 2004). The 2004 Pokémon World Championships were held at the Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida from August 20th to the 22nd. Themed "Pokemon Rocks America," this competition was the first to be hosted by Pokémon Organized Play, which is now known as Play! Pokémon. Offered here is an odd piece of memorabilia from this historic event: a large board directing attendees to the event location! This board features the Pokémon Rocks America and World Championships 2004 logos, as well as the final evolutions of the original Starter Pokémon (Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise). It states that the event would take place in the Empire Ballroom, and features the event and parking dates. The board measures approximately 21.75" x 27.75".
