Offered in this lot is a Seiko AirPro W851-4000 watch that was released in the 90s. These watches had a unique feature: a small air bag is placed under the watch face, which can be pumped full of air so that it fits the user's wrist perfectly. What makes this particular watch special though is that it is a special Pokémon Card Game version! These watches were gifts for employees at Wizards of the Coast, who brought the Pokémon Trading Card Game to the United States in 1999. Approximately 100 of these watches were ever made, and to make them even more special, they were a gift from Creatures Inc. founder Tsunekazu Ishihara! Creatures Inc. is one of the owners of the Pokémon franchise, along with Game Freak and Nintendo. Ishihara would go on to take the role of president and CEO of The Pokémon Company. This orange watch features a Pokémon Card Game label on the strap. The box it comes in also features a Pokémon Card Game logo. Also included is an instruction sheet, which is in both Japanese and English, and a guarantee slip. Please note that the air pump button in the space below the face of the watch has disintegrated. The air pump is currently not functional. The watch itself works fine, with multiple functions, including time/calendar, alarm, stopwatch, world time, timer, and more. The inserts, as well as the box, have very light wear to the edges and corners. The watch itself is in Very Good condition.
