Pokémon World Championships 2004 Fan Signed by Ken Sugimori & Takumi Akabane (BGS Authenticated). The 2004 Pokémon World Championships were held at the Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa in Orlando Florida from August 20th to the 22nd. Themed "Pokémon Rocks America," this competition was the first to be hosted by Pokémon Organized Play (Now known as Play! Pokémon). Various pieces of exclusive merchandise were available, including the fan offered here! The front side of this fan is branded with the 2004 Worlds logo, while the reverse side shows Pikachu, Charizard, and Venusuar with the text "Pokémon Rocks America 2004." What makes this fan extra special though is that it's been signed by two of the most iconic names in Pokémon! Featured are the signatures of Ken Sugimori and Takumi Akabane! Sugimori included an adorable doodle of Pikachu beneath his autograph, and Akabane signed "To Max" with the inscription "2004-8-21 FL". Please note that a Beckett Letter of Authenticity that declares the signatures authentic is included.
