Polaroid 600 Instant camera
The Polaroid 600 was produced in 1978 and was released with only the 600 description. This was later changed to the 600 SE. This camera is actually a collector's item because there are only a few of 600 in circulation. It is a large instant camera with interchangeable lenses. This camera was used by many professionals who needed immediate results with very high image quality. The 127mm F/4. 7 lens is made by Mamiya. This lens uses a leaf shutter and can therefore photograph at all speeds with flash. Also a nice feature to have when shooting in dark situations at a lower speed, the leaf shutters almost never cause vibrations in the images as normal focal plane shutters would. Lens shutter speeds range from 1/500th to 1 full second and bulb. Focusing the lens is done by a rangefinder system, not usual for these larger Polaroid cameras but very accurate and easy to achieve razor-sharp images. The rangefinder works fine; viewfinder is clear. This lens gives a certain depth and a beautiful character to the images. In combination with Fuji FP100c instant film, for example, you can take some beautiful photos with rich and vibrant colors and a beautiful depth of field.
This kit is in beautiful condition. (small dent at the top and on the edge of the lens; UV filter can still be easily attached (see photo) The lens is beautiful: no haze, fungus or scratches and the cable release of the built-in handle works fine. The camera is therefore fine Don't forget to remove the dark slide first. Photos form a whole with the description
