Model: 1919 Wingback is a historic armchair inspired by the 128 model, which entered the Renzo Frau catalog starting from 1919 and which took up the opulent characteristics of the Rococo bergères.
The design of the backrest is obtained by manually working the capitonné leather on a load-bearing structure in seasoned beech. The padding is in rubberized horsehair for the seat and in hand-shaped vegetable hair for the backrest and armrests. The seat cushion is goose down. All lining is full-grain calfskin.
The seat, backrest and armrests use hand-tied biconical steel springs for springing.

1919 is an armchair destined to last over time, whose form, function, design, comfort, quality and durability are expressed in a synthesis of prestige.
Every cut, every seam, every hand-hammered nail, every knot, testifies to the uniqueness of the product.
The wheels are cast solid metal with a gold finish.
On the back the rhomboidal Frau authenticity plate: specimen no. 1925
On the bottom the plate with the identification codes of the point of sale & serial number of the specimen.
