Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. The bronze surfaces display a rich brown patina with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions throughout, and traces of light surface soiling and oxidation concentrated to the recessed areas of the design, consistent with age and gentle handling. The frame of the mirror with some occasional very minor areas of wear to the patina, only visible upon close inspection. Two small screws on the outer perimeter of the twisted vine element that hold the rotating mirror plate in place have been replaced, not visually detectable. The mirrored glass appears to be original and undisturbed and features an elegant rolled bevel edge. The mirror with some occasional minute black discolorations on the reverse, concentrated to the edges and only visible upon very close inspection. An extremely elegant and naturalistic work with strong sculptural presence when viewed firsthand.
