Pontiac - trans am - 1972

Trans Am 455 automatic. For sale due to lack of time! Beautiful Trans Am with a 455 engine. The car needs to be finished. The car was completely resprayed in 2019. The engine was overhauled by Dymo Track in Heemstede, one cylinder was honed and a bushing was mounted, it has new pistons and springs. The crankshaft was removed, balanced and mounted with new bearings. It has quite a mild cam shaft. The intake manifold has been replaced for a Edelbrock Torqer-2 and it has a Holley 750cfm carburettor. The ignition has been replaced for an adjustable MSD unit which can be controlled from the inside. The rear axle comes from a Trans-am turbo, it’s a limited slip differential. The brake brakes were replaced for hydraulic reinforcement powered by the power steering pump. Tyres and rims are new. Leather interior. Rear brake drums have been replaced for discs including a brake pressure controller. The brake discs and pads are new. The wiring still needs to be reconnected. Exhaust still needs to be mounted. A lot of small things need doing such as interior locking, finishing the mirrors and door, mounting of bonnet hinges, etc. It has Swedish papers. In summary, a very nice project for the enthusiast.
