An exquisite pair of antique Chinese saucer dishes, of impressive size, skillfully hand painted with intricate designs of the Rose Medallion pattern.
Figures, birds, butterflies and insects in vibrant colours decorate these beautiful pieces, which exude quality.
The dishes were made during the Qing dynasty (1644-1911) , these fine examples likely to date from the second half of the 19th century, 1850-1899 but they might be earlier.
The intricate design and delicate details of these beautiful dishes are a testament to the skill of the artist who created them.

Note: each piece has a small chip to rim, see pics.
This does not detract from the beautiful appearance of these particularly fine examples of Chinese porcelain.
