SÈVRES style,
“LITRON” CUP and SAUCER

Cup with white background, decoration of flowers in bouquets or strewn, flowers such as roses, tulips, carnations and daisies, are painted naturally and in bright colors. This apparent spontaneity helps mask the imperfections caused by cooking with wood. Border made of golden wolf teeth.

The name "litron" cup was given by the Vincennes Manufacture around 1752. It was inspired to create this model by the mug. Cups and saucers appeared in series from the beginning of the 18th century.
